The advice I would give a teacher is if you wanna prove a student did something you need to have evidence. You have to make the story you told believable so the person you told will know you make sense. When you told your story the person will come out and reveal themselves. Never trust a student even though they are nice to you. they can go behind your back and never tell u the truth . They can back stab you and your respect. this can be reality and happen to someone who had experience this.
